Class Outline

​

We will discuss your goals and what you'd like to do to improve your kitchen game. This can be done with a phone call, an email or text.

 

Then we'll decide on a meal/menu/preparation that fits the goal, discuss ingredients and materials and set a date and time to get after it.

My Food Background

For 25 years I've worked in professional kitchens and have acquired the knowledge and skill to cook most anything I desire. 

Before working age I was cooking for myself and family and continue to do so with concern for health, nutrition, freshness and purity. In my household we eat well and we eat clean.

I want to teach people the art of clean food preparation and dispel a few myths of what it takes to learn this love language.

What I offer:

What I offer is personalized instruction on how to prepare and cook delicious and impressive dishes from the comfort of your own home. I will come TO YOU and work with you in your own kitchen, using your own items and tools and teach you how to make the most of what you've got. I will teach you basic knife skills and sanitation as well as walk you through step by step methods of prep and execution, teaching you the techniques that were taught to me. These are skills that are not easily forgotten and make the difference between success and failure of a great meal.

COST

My rate is $200 per class and instruction is 1-3 hrs.

Class is limited to 4 people maximum and is catered to clients desires and ambitions. Class instruction includes (but is not limited to) basic knife skills, sanitation, holding and storage temps, techniques of saute, braising, roasting, baking, frying, steaming, slow and low cooking using gas, electric or convection stoves, grills and ovens. Obviously we won't be covering all of these in a single appointment.

Client must provide food items or reimbursement of food cost if I do the shopping.

​

Client must provide cookware but suggestions and modifications are included in class instruction. I will provide any tools or cookware that fit the menu design if not provided by the client.

​

Locations must be within 30 miles of Silverton Oregon

​

Payment can be made by cash, venmo, paypal, zelle
